What happens if I need to cancel an order?
If we are already loaded for your delivery, or enroute to pick up your dumpster, there will be a $75 dollar charge. Otherwise, we understand things change, and there is no charge. We hope you’ll reorder at another time!

What happens if I need to change the delivery date or time?
Give us a call. We’ll always try to accommodate your requirements. The only stipulation is that if we have already loaded, or are in enroute, there will be a $75 charge. (Please note: If we have already arrived at the job, the trip charge is $150.)
How far in advance do I need to order?
If we have availability the day of, we’ll deliver. But to be on the safe side, 24 to 48 hours should be adequate. You are welcome to order as far in advance as you feel comfortable.
What if I need the dumpster repositioned?
We can reposition, and the charge for this is $150.
What if I need the dumpster emptied and returned?
We can empty and return your dumpster. This is considered a new rental, and your 7-day rental period starts over.
Do you offer around-the-clock service?
At this time our operating hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
What happens if you arrive to deliver or pick up and I am not ready?
There is a $150 trip charge.
Can I keep my dumpster longer than the contractual 7 days?
Yes. The cost for each additional day is $10.
What if I don’t need my dumpster for the full 7 days?
The rental price is the same whether you keep the dumpster for 1 day or 7 days.
Do I need to be present when my dumpster is delivered or picked up?
You do need to be present for delivery. At that time the driver will review details with you, and ask you to sign a Terms & Conditions form. Normally it is not necessary for you to be present for pick-up.
What types of payment do you accept?
U-Trash-It accepts Mastercard, Visa, or Discover. Payment is made prior to delivery.
Can you place the dumpster on the street in front of my house?
Please check with your municipality to see if this is permitted. Permits, notifications to the city police, and/or coning are sometimes required. Ensuring that street placement is legal is the customer’s responsibility, as is obtaining permits if required. We provide cones.
Do your dumpsters have lids? Are they lockable?
U-Trash-It dumpsters are open boxes, and as such are not lockable. We tarp our dumpsters for transit. For this reason, our dumpsters may only be filled level with the top.
Can I dispose of my appliances?
We can accept non-freon appliances such as washers, dryers, stoves, hot water heaters, trash compactors for an additional fee of $20 per appliance.
Will I get charged for extra weight?
In a sense. If our truck cannot lift the dumpster, our driver will have to offload enough material to load the dumpster. You will be charged $65.00 per hour for the time required to do this. Please click here for guidance on what can and cannot be placed in the dumpster.
Do you provide assistance loading items into the dumpster?
Sorry, U-Trash-It cannot provide onsite labor for the removal of trash.
Can we rent dollies or other transport equipment from you?
Sorry, U-Trash-It does not rent any equipment other than its dumpsters.
